hey guys,
i have a big problem with my transmission. first it started on the highway, it would randomly kick out of overdrive and i would have to turn the engine off for a little while to get it to work. the overdrive switch works fine and it doesnt flash any codes. then it started doing it alot and now it usually doesn't work.. but sometimes it does work. then a few days ago i went to start it in the morning when it was cold and it started making a really weird noise. it almost sounded like a jet engine. when i put it in reverse it made different noises and shut off, and when i put it in park it started again. very weird. so i shut it off and it kept doing it. so i figured out it would work fine if i started it in neutral. when i started it in neutral and didn't put it in park everything would work fine. it has done this a few other times randomly. the transmission always shifts fine.
heres a list of the work i've done to it since overdrive stopped working.
dropped the tranny pan and changed the tranny fluid and filter
put in a new thermostat and flushed the cooling system
cleaned the corrosion off the temp sensors in the back of the engine
i disconnected the cold start injector because it was getting horibble gas mileage

if anyone has any ideas on what i should do please let me know.
