auto to manual trans conversion

i would like to convert my trans from auto to manual. i know the the general things like pedals, master / slave cyl, flywheel, clutch. but what kind of wiring will need to be done? is there a write up? also my transfer case shifter isnt like ones in manual trucks, is this just a different shifter and can i use my existing tcase with the manual and possibly change the shifter to one from a manual truck or do i need to get a new tcase as well?

You will need a new transfer case as well. When I did mine I decided to keep the automatic tranny/ engine ecu. If you want to use your original ecu their are a few wiring changes you will have to do. I'll see if I can find one of my old posts about doing it.
