How many of you have this problem? I had the bolt the other way and it kept on rubbing the tank till it hit the seal, just my luck it broke the seal on the trail!
This is my 2nd tank...and yes I know my spring is bending backwards.

I was gonna say that even with 4" blocks in the rear I didn't hit the tank even though the springs were twisted up and high on the front side of the axle.

You got a twisted frame, bent spring or your gas tank has been smashified to somewhere it wasn't when installed.

It ain't supposed to do dat.

My 4Runner has never gotten into a accident, on the other side of the tank my Drive shaft hits it at full flex. Might be the springs all crapped out already.

I had the same thing happen a few months ago but it wasn't as bad as yours. I fixed it with JB weld and haven't had any issues since. I also reversed that bolt so the head is on the tank side and doesn't stick out as far.

I would say you have a bent frame, or you have some problems with the axle moving wayy to much, get some new damn springs. And it hat doesnt fix it, get a new truck...

My TG 4" springs the same thing. It hasn't damaged the tank yet but it might one of these days. My driveshaft rubs on the tank skid plate on the other side big time as well

My 4" allpro's do the rubbing thing, too. After your experience seems I better grind the bolt end down. Thanks for the 411.
