Anyone know where this was connected to

As my 1 year old battery was dead... I assumed my OE alternator on my 94 4wd truck was the culprit. I removed the alternator per the manual... but found a wire broken off ( not apparently on the alternator) but appeared to be from the engine going somewhere else. Sorry for the dumb question.. but anyone know where this should be connected to?

Oil pressure sending unit. Should connect up top there...near the igniter if I'm not mistaken.
