Anyone else have problems with leaky injector pipes after HG?
I got my HG job all done, on my 3.0 and the truck is running great...
Only problem is my injector pipes are leaking a little bit. My question is when you did your HG job, did you replace the copper gaskets? I made sure not to lose them, but mine are leaking slightly.
I'm debating ordering some or maybe going back in under the upper intake and just tightning them up some more. I'm not sure how tight they're sposed to be, but I synched them down as much as I could with 1 hand.

if u tightend them down with about as much as a spark plug they shouldnt leak. but i would check them again and if they still leak i would deff. replace them. dont ever take a chance on a fuel leak!!! ive seen what it will do first hand on my pops 57 chevy wagon. it wasnt pretty. burnt for about 1 min. and did 3k worth of damage and about 1yrs worth of work to fix it.

Got it fixed, it was frontmost injector pipe that was leaking. I called down at the local parts dealer, and talked to them, my parts guy transfered me to a tech, he told me just to snug them down "GOOD" and he was firm on the good, so I popped my upper intake off and synched them down "GOOD" and no more leak. I torqued them down a little more then I thought was needed but he told me to tighten them enough to make sure I squeeze the copper washer good.
He was right, no more leak.
