Anyone bought a engine from Oregon Engine Rebuilders Inc
I got a 1993 22re that as a bad rod knock. I can rebuild it but don't have the time and it's my only ride has anyone bought a engine from Oregon engine rebuilders Inc. this is what I'm looking at

I would personally, stay away from OER's. I purchased the same rebuilt long block from them for my son's truck. Less than a year later, a rod cap came off and went through the block. He did honor his warranty, but it was not an easy process.
I recently purchased a rebuilt long block, 3.0, for another 4runner. WE purchased it from Northwest Team Yota. Great engine. Great service.
Research yotatech. A thread about experiences with OER are detailed.
