another swap question
I know, I know you are all tired of the questions about motors but what i am looking for is for someone to basically tell me everything I would need in a 3.4 swap...ive searched and found a bunch of writeups but people post what they think is important. Some info on my truck:
1992 Toyota Pickup DLX
3.0 v6 with a 5 speed
214,000 miles...major rod knock going to replace motor....
also, places to where i could find adapter plates and the parts i would need would be great. but if im asking too much i apologize, i just searched for awhile and couldnt come up with what i was lookin for...so i thought posting might help.
thanks for any info

Check Mike's write ups at:
http://www.offroadsolutions.com
That will give you a very good idea about what you will need, depending on how much you are willing to transfer from your old engine to the new.
BTW - I used the ORS full kit on mine, and was very pleased with it. It saved me a lot of time on my conversion, and Mike is very easy to deal with.

Try to get all of your conversion parts from the same truck, if you can - it will make things much easier for you!
