another front bumper thread

been searching for a week and haven't found anything that has caught my eye. my rig is a 89 4runner with a 1 inch body lift.i'm looking for a front bumper. i was looking at marlin's and 4xinnovations'. i really was gonna get a bigrock's one but they went out bussiness
i know marlin and 4xinnovations won't raise it to macth the BL which sucks.
but if i an find a pic of the marlin one with the stinger i might get it.
or maybe a pic of one of Wabbit's front bumper

wabbit has a decent picture of the winch bumper w/ stinger on his website. You might also look at Allpro off road and Kennesaw Mountain.

I hear you on Big Rocks Off road. Finally find a semi local Toyota shop and find out he is was going out of business a few months later.

One option is badland bumpers: http://www.badlandbumpers.com/ all kind of options
I may take my '81 up to him sometime to have him do a cage for me...

Dave's Off road Winchplate looks a lot like the trail-gear winch mount I put on my '81..wonder if he uses that as a base, if so it is one stout piece of steel ..

I'm pretty sure he does use the TG winch mount plate as a base for his pieces.

You could probably order one for a BL and without that lame squirrelly/star. I like how it's built using tube and plated steel...best of both worlds.

I agree on Badland Bumpers too. They make some nice stuff.

i have a marlin bumper with a 3in. BL on my runner, it looks fine to me, just a gap between the grill and the bumper, wich ill probly fill by making it a double bar at some point, but with a 1in. BL you prolly wont notice the gap much

I want my front end to look like

bbut still find a way to have headlights, then mount the square turn lights in the grill or somewhere on the winch plate.

Probably throw on a marlin rear bumper, to go along with my tg sliders that i just ordered. then once im done cutting the fenders, and my suspension is settled on for now, ill get my buddy to do some welding to tie it all together.

That's a very good compromise between the pre-runner style and the plate style bumper...but it looks like the fairy princess visited the shop and torched bubbles in the front plates of the that thing!
