OUCH!

I'd have opted for one without that much front end damage (and did). I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't have any issues from it.

BTW, did you source your ECU from the same truck? Be sure to get the VIN and build date from it, for repair issues down the line!

There's a guy on ebay always selling 5VZFE MAFs for $29.99. I got one from him and it works fine. I think he's a Toyota tech at a dealer in the San Diego area and he seems to have a never ending source of MAFs and a new factory box to ship them in. I'm guessing he sees a lot of dirty ones and after poping in a new one for a sucker...oops..I mean customer, he cleans them and puts them on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TACOM...QQcmdZViewItem

Maybe check the MAF, it is very sensitive to dirt. Clean the wire inside MAF with electrical contact cleaner but don't touch it with anything.

Also check that the igniter is grounded good, it should be bolted to clean bare sheet metal.

Did you do the wiring conversion?

Spray the wire inside the MAF with electrical contact cleaner but don't touch it with anything. Some people use brake cleaner.

I think it gets it's ground that way, you would think something that important they would run a ground wire to it, but I've heard it just gets grounded by the mounting bolt so I cleaned it down to bare metal on mine.
