To ALL who have a body lift and aftermarket bumpers/sliders

Can you guys post pictures of either your runners or pickups with a 2 or 3 inch body lift and after market bumpers? ARB, marlin, allpro...doesnt matter. Just specify what bodylift you havd and what bumpers your running. Im looking for bumpers, but I dont want the huge gap betwee nbumper/body. I wanna see what the other BL rigs are running, and IF you have adjusted your mounting to make up for the body lifts. Thanks in advance...

I THINK IT HAS A 3 INCH BODY LIFT ON IT.

I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IAM GONNA TAKE THIS STUPID BODY LIFT OFF AND PUT IN A SUSPENSION LIFT. IT CAME WITH THE TRUCK. I COVERED UP THE GAP WITH LAWN EDGING.

Before I bought my ARB, I asked around and even talked to a few companies if an ARB bumper could be modified to fit with a 3" BL. Most all said it couldn't be done. I talked with my fab guy who was going to do the work for me (he had never done this) and said he could do it. He basically cut the mounting brackets off and welded them back 3" lower, it turned out great! I've seen a few other trucks since then with the same mod.

I like the ARB but I think its to high out of my price range. Im thinking I might go with the ALLPRO, and weld on a nice stiner with supports.

2" body lift (don't remember the brand)
Custom bumpers and sliders

And it can take a HIT as this fool who ran a red light found out the hard way. He went to the hospital, his truck went to the bone yard, we went to dinner.

Here's mine, 3" lift, bumpers and sliders raised to match:

How bumpers were done:
- http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTri...ringHangerDrop
- http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/RearBumper.shtml

Note, front bumper height is not flush to the grill due to winch.

How sliders were done:

They are three different types (fog, drivers and 120w pencil), tied thru relays into the headlights.

Flick the switch to running lights and the fogs come on.
Flick to the next position (w/ brights off) and the fogs turn off and the driving lights come on.
Flick to the brights and the drivers turn off and the pencils come on.

Of course, I can override too if I want and either disable them or turn them on manually.

Both trucks have a 1" BL and the bumpers were adjusted to fit nice and snug but allow room to flex when off road.

Not sure on my front bumper yet..But im close to sure I want the allpro rear bumper. Guess i'll just have to customze the brackets somehow to raise the bumpers up. Can I make extensions for the brackets, or do I have to cut the brackets off and reweld them lower?
