hey chances are that if you have an older toyota 4x4 89 to 95 p/u and 4runners. i own a 90 p/u and the relay rod the shaft that runs across the front of the steering fron the pitman arm to the idler arm needs to be replaced well infact if your truck falls in to the recall . toyota will replace it for freen and any of the steering that they screw up had mine fixed summer of 06

well how long have you owned youre truck ? and yes if youre not shure if its been done youll probaly need your vin#

yeah...it's been heard of. My brother had it done on his 94. I think this ONLY applies to trucks with power steering though...lol

 

well then contact youre local dealer and tell em the vin they will tell you if you need to have it replaced
