air fuel ratio
hello all.
what brand of air fuel gauge would you guys recomend?
i was thinking either an autometer or the one you can get at kragen..
i just wanted some opinions on what brands everybody has had the best of luck with.

Go with the AEM UEGO wideband. I've had buddies run the LC1 and it was not as nice as the AEM, and the Kragen one is trash.
Why do you want one? Do you plan on boosting your motor, or going a standalone?

I run the PLX Devices SM-AFR + DM-5 AFR Combo. Works wonderful, albeit, a bit on the pricey side. However, it has proven invaluable for tuning, etc.
You just need to weld an O2 bung on your exhaust for the wideband sensor.

I love my LC1, set it up and calibrated it once and its worked perfect for a few years now.
I relocated the emergency flasher switch.

More info on the LC1 stand alone kit: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...ad542d8c62b5da

Thank you guys a lot. All the information i can get is great.
Thats another reason i want a gauge. Is because i get about 188 to a tank of fuel. Ive heard of people getting 250-300. And sometimes when im cruising i can smell the strong exhaust smill in my truck and im pretty sure its running rich.
Btw my engine just went through a full rebuild and has abt 3500 on it. With cam and bored out... Sooo. It better be a good running 22re. Lol.

I absolutely agree with you. I've run the LC1 with a few buddies, and there was no problems. I just personally think the AEM is a little nicer of a unit.
