After fire 86 22r

Okay guys, i have been trying to figure out my decelerating afterfire. I have looked into timing, thats alright. I have replaced my egr. It happens when i rev my engine up past aabout 4 or 5 k and let off with no histitation, it will either kackle or all out boom afterfire. i was messing around with some vaccume today and found that if i plug the plastic canister that come's from my intake it goes away comepletely. i'm not sure what its called. Any idead's?

Can you take a picture of what part your talking about ?. The vacuum advance is not a plastic canister.

yeah i hooked it back up anyway because my truck studders super bad without it. no loss in power or anything, my engine just shake's without it hooked up but i'm stuck with my "backfire" as everyone puts it lol..So i think i'm back to square one. i do still think that its vacuum related.

Any mods to your exhaust? After putting a cherry bomb on my truck i could hear 'pop''pop' on deceleration, which i think is normal. I never heard it when it had the quieter stock muffler. You think that could be it?

alright i have been looking around online, it was my resonator i clogged up, which leads to the ASV? An as for my exhaust i have just a muffler nothing else, it ends just after my cab (used to be routed out the side haha) but as for my afterfire, you can see it at night if i rev up really high an let off.
