Ac stoped working
I don't know what happened, I was with the wife, jumped in and started it up. I hit the ac button.. No light...
I checked the fuses and all are good. I haven't changed anything lately but I do have a slight engine oil leak (compressor has a little oil on it). is there a fusable link somewhere?
I also was thinking.. there is no fail safe for low fuel is there? (I am presently under 1/8th of a tank, I will refill next time I drive)
Need some options..
Thnaks all!

Do a search in this forum for air conditioner, AC or A/C and see what you come up with. If no luck, I would start by checking that the idler pulley is good and your compressor is turning with the engine. Then, make sure your idle is not too low (there is a cutoff for the compressor that will not engage if the engine is below @ 850 rpm).
Which year/engine is this for?

Yes, Did a search and couldn't find anything simalar. it is almost like the switch doesn't work. There is no Idle up, and it doesn't matter if I am driving or stoped. no action.

yes there should be a low pressure cut off switch that would prevent the compressor from kicking on should the system be low. (there is also a high pressure cut off)
you can put a guage on the system and then jumper the pressure switch to force the compressor on and see what your pressure is.
with out the compressor turning the 2 sides of the system will equalize so you really cant take the pressure with out the compressor turning.
