Question 95 vs 95.5 Generations

What's the difference? How do i know if im 95 or 95.5? I see see another forum for 95.5+

that is when the trucks changed body styles and went to the 3.4l i believe

95 was the last year for the old style pickup, engines would have been the 22-re and 3vz. The Tacoma debuted as a brand new mid year model, so technically the first Tacomas were 95.5 models. The engines were either the 2.7 3rz or the 3.4 5vz. You should be able to tell the difference pretty easily, one says Tacoma the other does not. Styling was similar but different enough to be obviuos.
