94 Runner pings badly only when warm

Hey everyone this is my first post so any help would be appreciated. I picked up a 94 4Runner 3.0 auto that pings bad I have no codes showing up. The things I have done, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, checked tps, cleaned egr valve, sea foam, cleaned the throttle body. All this stuff helped but not the pinging. the funny thing is it pings only when at operating temp. I can be cruising on the highway flat land and it pings. I bought this runner at a good price. The guy I bought it from told me about it I didn't think it would bother me but its starting to drive me crazy lol. I have also tried premium fuel the timing is at 10 btc im at a loss someone please help....

Thanks
Rudy

@ RUD3DOG, have you checked your timing? If your timing is advanced too much that can cause pinging, and that is an easy fix. Just be sure to follow the FSM to the letter. 10* btdc is stock, lots of folks run 12*. Retard the timing a bit and see if that helps the pinging.

@ CDN-SMOKEJUMPER, yeah that's bad like don't run it anymore. I think you are about to get real familiar with the 3.0 repair manual.

If it explodes I'll get a refurbished engine I suppose. Annoying though.
