94 22re runs but dies after a few seconds... Help please!

I recently purchased a 94 toyota pickup with the 22re engine.
Truck starts every time runs for a few seconds and dies, dies immediately if I touch the throttle.
I have replaced the ecu, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, afm and tps to no avail. Anyone have problems like this?

"Starts and runs a few seconds" is the classic sign of a COR-VAF circuit problem. Fortunately, it's the easiest thing to test on a pickup!

Jumper FP to B+. With key-on, this forces the fuel pump to run. If the truck now starts and runs, you've determined you have a problem in the COR-VAF circuit. Remove the jumper, with key-on, push open the flap in the VAF. You should hear the pump start.

Note that these tests cost about $0.00. How much did you pay for all those parts you replaced at random?

Parts were not replaced at random. I only replaced the vafm and the tps, previous owner replaced all other parts.
Was reading codes for afm, air temp sensor and 02 sensor.
Have already jumped the pump and held open vafm flap, pump runs and it is getting to the fuel fail.

Scope103, I am getting codes for the O2, afm, air temp and tps. I disconnected the battery for about eight hours, when I reconnected it the same codes remained.

the air temp and VAF go through the same connector; the easiest way to get that pair of codes is disconnect the connector. So check your wiring there.

Just in case:

I believe my connector doesn't have the wires on the side.
