93 rear window 'dead'

hi guys

i've got a problem with my rear window: it went down, but now it does not want to come up anymore, neither through the window switch near the driver seat nor through the key in the tailgate.
what i can hear is the sound of the relay near the left side taillights.

i have checked the blue connector that goes to the motor (on the pic) which gives me 0 or 12V depending on how i turn the key. i had this issue in the past, but about 10min later it worked again fine.

anybody got an idea how i can fix it and what is broken?

Thanks

another note: the rear window wiper also does not work now (window is in open position and cant close). i thought maybe letting the wiper run through would help, but it also doesnt move

Have you tested the motor independently of all the switches? when I was testing mine I connected two wires from the battery to the motor. When I connected the second wire to the motor it started moving, so I knew the motor was good. It sounds like you are getting 12v to the motor so it makes me wonder if it's the motor? If the motor works then you can bypass all the safeties and ground the switch to a separate ground and see if it works then?

I am not the best troubleshooter but that's my first thought. I spent a lot of time with my rear window lol

did you trick your window into thinking the tailgate is up by tripping the tailgate locks (where it hooks to the truck on each side) with a screw driver?
\Gotta do that to trouble shoot stuff with the tailgate down
