In my 93 4Runner the right rear passenger window will not go down. I have verified that the switch is good by swapping it with the one on the left. I checked the motor by running power directly to the two terminals on the motor and it worked as it should (up and down). While the door panel was off, I ran the window down and left it down. I then hooked up everything and was able to raise the window using the window control switch. But the window will not go down using the switch. I suspect a problem with the power widow relay but I, for the life of me, can not find the darn thing. If anyone know the location please help. Pictures would be a huge help. Thanks.

 

On the PICKUP (no rear window), there is no "door control relay." http://web.archive.org/web/201102052.../7powerwin.pdf There is a door lock control relay, which is what allows you a few seconds to run the windows after you turn off the key. That's all. Since some of your windows work, your problem isn't in that relay.

Because of your careful diagnostics, you've eliminated the switch and the motor as the source of your problem. That leaves something between the switch and motor. It could be a wiring issue, but I would think it's more likely the switch socket itself.

I'd pull the switch, using my multimeter confirm which wire goes where, and using a jumper try to power the window. That will tell you where the failure is.
