92 truck vibrates real bad when stopped in gear
I have a 92 truck with a 22re and an automatic A340F transmission. It vibrates real bad when I'm in drive but stopped. It seems to get worse when I turn the wheels. I thought maybe it was electrical so I changed the alternator brushes but to no effect. It's almost like it's idling too low. I tried adjusting the idling speed adjustment screw and it's idling fine when in neutral and park, but soon as it's in drive, bam it comes back. Need to know what direction to go in next.

Checked all vacuum hoses and intake tube for leaks? Check engine light on? Ground wires in engine bay clean and attached to bare metal?

sounds like the same thing my 92 is doing I bought mine a couple of months ago. noticed when its in park it ideals fine {maybe a little fast} it doesn't shake/vibrate till I put it in gear I haven't noticed any difference when I turn the wheel. I just got new motor an tranny mounts for it . hopefully this will fix it I haven't checked the vac. lines but think I will check them out. keep us posted .

I had the same exact problem after I replaced my engine, when I was driving seemed fine but when I stopped in gear it was bad, in park it was barely there, so what happend was the transmission was separating from the motor I tighten the bolts up and started it up and it was gone hope it helps
