I've overheated my paper shredder twice already, do you think it's the headgasket?

Forgive me if this was covered a few pages ago, but why don't you just remove the swaybar and drop the whole diff? You have almost everything disconnected except the CVs at this point. I think it will give you a lot more maneuvering room to get that pan off.

yes. my thought too.

in the pic below you can see how the whole shebang is caught up oon the swaybar. swaybar has to come out anyway....sawzall needs to be employed to do this.....hmmmmmmmm.....may just run down the basement and get the sawzall out and finish off those connections to the lower control arms (LCA's as I've been told)

Ahh, I see, your swaybar bolts are seized, that's why you left it on there. Yeah cut that sucker, mine's been off for a long time. Then, if you lock your front hubs, you can stop the CV's from spinning so you can break those nuts loose. Be careful you don't drop that diff on your hand, it is heavy, especially full of oil. You are SOOO close to having that pan off.

It was funny though. Is it really getting called out when you are right? His job is dismantling and running inventories on Toyotas.

DC was being helpful, and didn't come across as anything but.

I have noticed there are some folks on here that like to make people feel dumb as they are helping. No need to come across as a douche. Oh well, thats why they make ban hammers. Now, no more dilly dallying, get on that oil pan!!!

whoops...got derailed...forgot to pay 2 bills....hey look,a squirrel!....

nah...anyway, I think Dc was in the right, sometimes he comes across wrong and you can tell the one he's talking to is gonna either fold up and run away or going to retaliate...but last night it was all cool.
