I got one more side to do, and now I got to wait on sway bar end links since the brand new (6 month old) MOOG link boots are busted already. lol good thing for lifetime warranties. And it's gonna get dark here soon. You got light in that garage right? what about heat? lol

My Chevy 4.3L was the same on the drivers side. Need that Burger King guy with the small hands to get in there.

Hope you feel better.

hey, so i died yesterday, no clue what was wrong with me but feel much better today.....

anyway, some pretty "awkward" angle on my front driveshaft (post a pic later) which has come to rest on top of the swaybar. Now i think i see what they say to take the swaybar off. will probably take the driveshaft off and see what happens.... I need sooooo little more room that it's ridiculous...so hopefully if i gain any room by doing that it will be enough.

if not, then i guess i will be doing more unbolting.

once the diff was out of the way it went super easy. i'm sure i could have gotten at them with a wrench, but what would the point have been if i couldn't maneuver the pan around.

and thanks. yes i feel much better today.

there's a good chance everything is going to be on the floor soon if i keep unbolting stuff.

glad to see you're feeling better. Now get to work! Just kidding. You gotta count your blessings when the "sick" only lasts a day or so.

PICS, like I promised.

Looks like if I unbolt the front driveshaft I may gain some movement...seems like the easiest, most sensible next step to me.

it's actually a scary amount of movement I got from the diff etc...when i unbolted the mounts...very unstable right now and not liking the TWIST it did.

Just another view from the front

And I can safely say that there is NOBODY ELSE IN THE WORLD using a Spongebob sleeping bag as a surface to lay on while working on their truck. NOBODY.

that "twist" is normal, when I unbolted mine, that drive shaft flange was 1/4' from the pavement.
