i have a 92 4runner and it stalls while driving, at first it was doing it just sometimes now it does it a lot. there's no codes, just replaced fuel pump, filter, throttle position sensor, new plugs -wires, rotor and cap and adjusted the idle speed. i think it might be the computer but how do i find out for sure? what yrs are compatible with a 92? not sure what to do because there's no codes showing. that's why i think it might be the computer.

 

Odd question, but did you check the coolant? Had a friend with a 94, and it was low on coolant, and stalled all the time.

 

yes i've checked everything. i am very adiment about all the maintainence on it. oil, coolant, brakes, steering, everything.
