Right on man. The only thing that scares me about replacing the cables is how they're all bundled into that harness. I'm not really sure whats all in that harness. Maybe I'll just disconnect the harness and push the old cables to the side and run the new ones.

The harness is nothing to be scared of. The cables are real simply to replace. Try the jumper cables first and if that works...replace them, making sure to check the grounds.

I'm having the same problem in my 91 4runner. Latley I had been able to turn the key a couple of times and it would start, this morning no go. Where the hell is the starter, maybe I was still asleep when I was looking for it this morning, but I couldn't seem to find it, plus I was extremly pissed off. I have only had this damn thing for 3 weeks, already the 3rd problem!!
