There are lil notches on the gears, just make sure at TDC the dots are both directly in the middle, then it is set.

Dude... If it jumped you need to get a new timing set and replace the gears, tensioner, guides and chain. There's a reason it slipped and now that it has slipped the chain probably stretched even more.

What happened to mine was the plastic chain guide broke and went through the bottom gear which jumped the time, cracked the timing cover, and bent all 4 intake valves.

Why did it jump?

Is the drivers side plastic rail broken?

Did you check the compression?

How long do you want this repair to last?

It kinda buggin me and I'm considering pulling housing and really tring to get a good seal so I'll have a dry engine ps all new LC timing upgrade, two machanics told me toys are known for this oil leak?

So did mine. I have an '86 4rnr. Used auto-rx and leak stopped. If you've never used it, you might give it a shot.
