Hi everyone, ive got my rear window assembly all removed and taken apart. The problem is that one morning the window would not roll back up. I have the motor out by its self and it works fine, moving the gear properly. As soon as i connect it to the window gear/track assembly and try rolling it up, the motor runs but doesent spin the gear, almost like its in neutral or something. Any help on this would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

what do the gears on the motor and also the regulator look like ?

inside the motor is a plastic gear .. maybe it is stripped ..

the plastic gear and the motor itself work great, its something to do with the metal gear. Its not catching, so when the motor spins the plastic gear, the metal gear will not move if i apply light pressure
