Can't find a good pic, when installed does the outer edge go behind the fender lip or in front?

 

I have to go uncover and start my truck today, I’ll snap some pics, give me a few hours

 

So it looks like it goes in front towards the mudflap and then switches to behind half way up the fender, let me know if you need better or more specific pics

 

I will add I have never messed with the liners and the PO I’m sure never messed with them, I’m guessing this is correct but I’m not 100% sure as it’s the only Toyota I’ve ever owned…but the one pic of the drivers is the same as the passenger so I would imagine they are both correct.
