Question 90 4runner....cost to replace the fuel pump?

How much will it cost to replace the fuel pump on a 1990 v6 3vze 4runner?

How hard is it to do yourself?

Any help will be much appreciated.

they run about $200 http://oem.thepartsbin.com/parts/the...ry=All&dp=true

email evan nickols (evann@northridgetoyota.com) and he'll hook you up with free shipping. he made post back in july 2006 i believe about free shipping and 25% off for yotatech members.

It's not too difficult to do yourself, but you have to drop the tank. It's easier if it's nearly empty. You'll find a small access panel under the passenger side rear seat to disconnect the wiring, and you can disconnect the fuel lines after lowering the tank a bit.
