90 4 runner 22re doesnt idle
hey ya'll, ok here is my deal,
its time for me to get my runner running strong again, she has a variety of problems, first my brand new master cylender is leaking break fluid, so no brakes, next when i brake like at a stop light it not always, but 50 percent of the time it dies. and it does idle in park but really rough, its knocking really loud. I have money just not the skill to get it going, but i really dont want to deal with taking it to a shop around here, i wont have it for a few weeks if i do that and since its my only rig i wont be able to get around... so i need some advice on whats causing these things and needing replaced. please and thank you
Lena
oh yeah and when i brake and it does stay running my music gets quieter and i lose power to my heater... if that helps

check your battery cables. Is your battery properly secured? Please post up some more info, year, model, moter, transmission. Maybe a location if anyone thats local can help you take a look. If its running rough, is it missing? do you have a cylinder cutting out? When was the last tune up? Where is the leak from the master cylinder? As far as diagnosing noise, Its best to take a video for us to listen to. Maybe you can take some pics of the leak. The better you discribe/ show us the problems, the better we can help. Good luck.
