89 Pickup Wiper Blades
Just wondering if anyone has some good links to any 2-screw type wiper blades for these trucks, no store around my neck of the woods carries this style of wiper. Either that or if there's an adapter out there somewhere that can go from 2-screw type to a hook type wiper. Thanks.

I just went with the stock style.
About a month+ ago I purchased a set of Trico Exact Fit's #17-3 for my 91, the attachment looks just like that.
Your local dealership should have the OEM's on hand PT# 85212-YZZ09 but don't be shocked if the price is more than you expected, especially if you're in Canada.
I think Denso made the originals and they also make a replacement aftermarket set. I looked into purchasing the aftermarket Denso's but unfortunately nobody in my area had them and I would have to pay shipping for them. I was already going to make an online dealership parts order so I just included the OEM's with the order. It didn't increase the shipping cost and ended up being cheaper than what I could get the aftermarket Denso's for.

Denso 160-1217
Rockauto has these for $4.61 + shipping. There are others to select from too.
Denso parts lookup:

Excellent idea as long as they're the same length!
By now all our old wiper arms are a burned out, peeling, faded black anyhow. It should make getting good wiper blades easier too.
Do you know if all the 2000+ Tacoma arms work?

Those are a freaking nightmare to change out. Insane engineering. I gave up on them and went to the junkyard and got the entire assembly with the different type of connectors that don't cause rage when replacing the blades.

I got a little dose of the insanity when I attempted to change mine and found the screws rusted in place. I just coated the new screws in anti seize to help with that.
I've had two different types of wipers fly off cars after several months of usage. The whole mechanism slid off the arm of one of them. On another car part of the attachment system was made of plastic and it broke leaving part of the plastic still attached to the arm.
In both cases it really REALLY REEEALY SUCKED because it was in heavy rain while I was running down the freeway.
The way the Denso's and Trico's are designed I don't think they're going anywhere until I remove them. I'm doing my best to stay away from wipers with much plastic in them.

I did on the Yota because they looked awfully dried out and the rainy season was just around the corner here in the PNW where at times it seems like it rains for 40 days and 40 nights.

+1 for rockauto. They carry the little screw-ons
However, Bosch wiper blades from O'Reily also come with the screw-on adapters. check the box before you buy.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Decided to try one more auto parts store before I ordered online (since international shipping would've been more than the wipers themselves). As luck would have it this store had a jar of wiper parts and the guy gave me three adapters for free! Can put hook style wipers on the truck now!
