89 Pick up

Hello
I bought a 89 pick up a few years ago
22r carb
4speed
so far it has
160,000 miles (12/2021)

the person who sold it to me lowered the truck
so far Ive only changed 2 parts
the coil pack (stopped working) and a PCV valve (cracked)

It is my Daily commuter to work
about 40ish miles mostly on the 405 between southbay and Westwood

I would like to fix the smoking issue which is leaving my spark plugs oily
and one day raise it to better handle the poorly maintained 405 commute
any recommendations, tips and tricks??
this is my first Toyota and first commuting car

I have seen white smoke out of the muffler when I drive, park it and let it sit but soon after turn it back on
it wasn't that bad before
it has gotten worse

the oil is not milky
compression test is good

with 160,000 miles I'm assuming its not a cracked piston

Probably not a cracked piston. Probably.

If I were to guess, which I am, I'd say head gasket, but that's just a guess on my part.

Have you checked the PCV for proper operation? Same for the EGR valve?

My guesses, is all.
I wish you the best of luck!

I hope with switching the head

After that I want raise it and hopefully get it bigger tires for a smoother ride down the freeway
