88 That wont start

I have an 88 4runner automatic 22RE that will not start most of the time. Sometimes it starts up fine and runs well, other times i have to jump the fuel pump directly to the battery with a jumper wire to get it to fire up and then it runs fine. Any ideas, Fuel pump Relay maybe? Let me know

Yep, that's the most common part to cause that problem. You can ohm it out using the specs from the factor service manual.

Could be any part of the above circuit. And one option is to just leave the test jumper in. I ran my truck for about 3 years like that before it seemed to have fixed itself.
