88 4runner electric window switch problems

Hi, I am having some issues with my driver and passenger power window switches. I took them both apart and the master switch needs to be replaced I think. Also I think I lost a contact for the passenger side window switch. Its pretty frustrating trying to take these apart and clean them, as the contacts like to go bouncing off. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement switch? Even used maybe?

Thanks!

There are two styles of window switches depending on your door panel type.

If you have a flat door panel where the switch faces across the cab, there is a new passenger switch available from Switch Doctor: https://www.switchdoctor.net/toyota-...tch-1984-1988/

Unfortunately, they do not make a driver's side switch panel, or the fancier switch style.

For a used switch, you can look in your local auto salvage yard, eBay, Craigslist, etc.

You can also try Yota Jim's out of Denver, Colorado. They are a Toyota Truck and 4Runner only salvage yard: http://yodajims.com/

Once you reach 15 posts, you can post a "Want to Buy" (WTB) ad in the classifieds section on YotaTech if you are not having any luck.

I cleaned the window switches of my '88 4R. They work perfectly after that. In case your truck has the same switches:

I checked out Yoda Jim's, they seem to be pretty specialized in this sort of thing, Just what I need!
If I'm driven to rewiring the whole switch 'SomedayJ' that link will help quite a bit for sure.

Thanks for the links.
