87 worth it?

I found an 87 toyota truck 4x4 for sale for $1200. I know it will probably be hard to determine since i dont have pictures of it and all that, but it seemed to run good, i think it has a 22re in it, it doesn't have a/c, the body didn't seem to have much or any rust but there were holes rusted in the outer parts of the bed, the frame looked good. The tires were fairly new but i am not sure what size, just that they are BF goodrich.....

So any one think its work it?

depends on what you intend to use if for. For $1200 asking price pretty much assuming it runs/drives/and breaks ok, and will pass inspection its probably worth what they're asking for it

Well, I want it for a few reasons, first i kinda need a truck of some sort, want something to play in the mud with. I drove it, it went and stopped well, im pretty sure it could pass inspection, but we don't have inspections in Oklahoma any more.

Did you make sure the 4x4 works?

If everything works and you don't see any issues w/ it I'd go for it. Most running 4x4 yotas from the 80's fetch around $2k

sounds like it'd be worth it then. only reason i said inspection is cause if you buy it and it wont pass inspection in a state with inspections you could end up dumping a ton on money into it.
