87' Runner window problem

So, my rear window has always worked fine, but today I removed the roof and put it on and it stopped working, even though the "B" bolt is all the way in, and all the bolts were done in the correct order. I took the trim back off and then it worked, but when I put the trim back on it stopped working again. I tested it multiple times and it will NOT work when the trim is on, never had this problem before. Any ideas? Am I just crazy?

Toyota components are almost always "bullet-proof". Problems are caused by poor connection. Check the latter.
Also disconnect the connector to the rear wiper assembly. That will eliminate or confirm doubt on wiper park sensing switch.
