I have a 86 toyota with 2.4L engine w/ a 5 speed 4x4 tranny and I am looking for a new tranny. The only one I can find is $500 and I am looking for a cheaper one but have no luck. I live in Steele,MO 63877. Does anyone know what other year trannys that would bolt up as well. THANKS

 

they all bolt up but make sure you measure from front of bellhousing to shifter measurements because i just put a 87 pickup tranny in my 85 and the sifters where 3 inch further forward that i found out after it was installed ,i had to do some hacking and welding today so it would look good

 

imj not sure if the 3.0 work so ya nut make sure if you spend some good coin get the gear driven tran case
