I have an 86 4runner that seems to be missing on only one cylinder. It only does it at higher rpms. I have put new distrubuter cap on, plugs, and wires. Valves have been adjusted and am getting good compression. Has new fuel filter also. I can hold throttle open and pull off plug wire from distributer off that leads to third cylinder and does not affect the motor at all but, when all others are pulled off one at a time the motor is affected. Kind of an amatuer here and not sure what else to do. Any ideas? Oh, and it is a 22re EFI.

 

There's a possibility that the injector for #3 is partially clogged.

Anyhow, can you post pics of the spark plugs?

 

Have no camera. The plugs however are brand new and even when swapped with the others i still have the miss.
