Manually rolling up rear window?

Is it possible, if you have no power available period, to roll up the rear window?

Reason I ask is I need a part from a junkyard for my rear window. They have one there but the window is down and I cannot get to the part as its behind the window. So is there a way to roll the window up with having no access to power?

Bring a batt, a small motorcycle bat should work and "hot wire" the window motor....

That's all I've got...

You should be able to take one of the gears out and just push the window up.

I think there is a plug in the door you can take off and hot wire with a battery, pretty easy, I had to do it a few times on my old 86 that's how I know. There should be a power plug to window motor inside the door you can unplug and I believe I clipped some wires to a battery and then to the plug and it went up.

ummmm, I "think" I recall seeing a thread, note this was a long time agao, where someone fabbed up or made up some sort of hand crank, that he had protrude inside the gate, that he could actually roll the window up and down like a manual door window

a search might turn it up

not sure if that helps, but it might be an alternative way to get the window up, lol
