i have a 95 3.0 v6 5 speed used to be auto. well 4wd works but the light doesnt. ive swapped the switches, jumped the connector. but the only way the light comes on is if i ground one of the wires. and if i ground one of the wires and the light comes on then the air servos dont work it gets stuck on the blue survo and nothing else till i undo the switch connector. the light has not workd with the 4wd since i did the swap and even with the auto it didnt work right could that be the relay but i hear it click when it needs to

 

i have a 91 the was a auto and did the 5 speed swap when it came to doing the 4wd part most people said to just change the vacuum and lock the actuator and get manual hubs for it, i didnt want to so i went threw and figured out how to wire the 4wd to work with the shifter and here is a write up i did on it. hope this might help.

thank you turns out i never jumped the 2 wires and i had both blues with the tan not the red and blue with the tan . thank you again
