4Runner rises up out of hibernation

to get the trailer into the pole barn!! My regular pull vehicle (1998 Olds Intrigue) was slipping all over the place backing the trailer into the backyard......gave me a good excuse to fire up the 4Runner to complete the job!!!

Was nice hearing the ole' girl run again. But now, after the trailer was put away, back away into the other side of the pole barn, away from all that damn Michigan salt.

April........it won't get here soon enough when it should be safe to get her back on the road, after the salt has washed away off the roads.

Clean truck dude, mines is currently sleeping too. I get it started every couple days though, you'd be amazed how nice a 22re sounds like after driving around a 1.5l civic around every day lol.

Odometor (sp) shows 176,000, but the engine was professionally bored .20 over, crank turned, brand new top end, everything new in the engine bay. Runs real nice now.

Hate to take the running boards off since there wouldn't be any place to mount the big a$$ mud flaps; plus, could possibly take a stone hit to the paint if all that crap wasn't hanging off the bottom of the truck. I know, I'm a retard.

STILL needs more money thrown at it.........get the rear end butt drag straightened out, new tires, fix the ding in the right rear quarter panel. It never ends.

But I love this truck!!

Another pic, although this one from long ago......the original "vmax84". Long gone, but not forgotten.
