Oh, that's really good to know that they have the whole gas door area. That would make things a lot easier.

I would be pleased if mine came out the way yours did too! It's a beauty.

I've never done this type of stuff before. I was looking at your other thread it started to look a bit out of my league. Dropping a gas tank is not something I've done before either. I'm sure there must be youtube videos about how to do it.

I've also never painted before. I do have a MIG welder, so I think if I got the panels I could cut out the rusty pieces and weld on the new panels, and sand down the welds, but I don't know anything about priming and painting. I'd imagine there's an art to it.

My truck isn't too bad. It's in pretty good shape overall. There's just a couple rust spots I'd like to fix.

I'll try to take some pics this weekend and post it.
