4 runner roll bar bolt size???

I have searched first before asking, and couldn't find the answer.

What size, and thread pitch are the seat belt bolts on a 1st gen 4runners roll bar. Basically the ones that hold the shoulder strap part on the roll bar?

Thanks-

I gave up trying so I drove my 1986 4Runner to a specialty hardware store where the clerk spent about 20 minuts trying different bolts to no avail. The closest thing that worked wasn't even metric. Best of luck!

Actually, those bolt holes will be 7/16-NF, its a DOT regulation for seat belt hardware. If you measure in metric, it is close to M11-1.25 but you'll not find anything in that size (BTDT).

Thats good to know! Makes sense, I wondered why the bolts that fit were not metric. 7/16-NF, yeah that sounds right from what I can remember.
