Unhappy 4 runner is dying

My truck running worse every day it seems like. but sometimes it runs a little better. This is what its doing, it sounds like its missing, idles fine, poor acceleration, especially rough and shaky between idle and 2800-3000 RPM. I checked my timing around 2000 miles ago and it was 35 DEGREES. i set it at 10 and it helped but like i said, its getting worse and im getting worried about my baby. help please

Have you pull any codes?

Jump the Te1 and e1 termanel in the gray "diagnostics" box under the hood (passenger side, by fuse box). Turn key to "run" and count the blinks of the check engine light ( pen and paper to write them down)

also check you ignition components! Allways check the weakest link, also known as the cheaper parts! Start with spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Hows the fuel pressure? Hows your air filter??

there should be a service port on the fuel rail. question though: is the idle all screwed up, choppy, and uneven? and when you accellerate does it choke and threaten to die?

no it idles fine, but when i jump the Te1 and e1 the check engine light just constantly blinks with no pauses. what does that mean. and one thing is that the truck seems to run a little better after its warmed up

A constant blink means there is no stored codes.

Are you sure you have all your vacuum lines hooked up correctly?

duh. any car will run better once its warmed up.... lol! think about this... when you wake up in the morning, do you prefer waking up gradually, coffee, cigs, w/e, or do you prefer to just get up and go? well, cars like having their coffee and donuts in the morning. lol. i know when i wake up i have to take a shower and have some coffee or i am NEVER wakin up fully. lol

Truck should run fine when first fired up, albeit it will idle high but thats beside the point.

i did seafoam like 2000 miles back and it did help a little. so ill check the vacuum lines. what makes me nervouse is my haynes book says it could be a bunch of stuff with the EFI. all of which could be expensive and i just took a 1500 dollar hickey with the clutch/steering gear job.
