3VZ intermittent starting problems

Before purchasing the truck my friend told of a singular problem...when the engine had been fully warmed up and driven for a while it does not want to start back up again after being turned off. If you wait for somewhere between 5-60 minutes it'll start right back up again.
To be more specific about the non-start, I turned the ignition, the dash board lights up and you can here the starter trying but the engine does not crank.
Now after replacing the engine and all of the other parts listed in the linked thread, the same problem still exists. I've tried using the clutch start cancel button, but it does not work either.

It this something electrical? Its really frustrating to have the problem still occur after all the money and time spent.
