what do i need to do to fit 33s and 35s?? better to go 35s over the 33s?

I have a 4" lift and I run 35's. they rub when the wheels are turned and I'm flexed out, it might not be as bad with IFS though since they don't flex much.

also think about wheel backspacing if youre worried about zero rubbs.

might as well lock it while your in there too.

they don't make 5.13 gears for toyota's. you'd need to run 5.29's for 35's....IF you have a 5spd.


5spd or Auto? If you have an auto, I'd stick with 33's and run 5.29's or possibly 5.71's.

33's depend on how wide you want to go. 33x10.50 fits with zero lift.

12.50 does not.

35's require either a sawzal, or a 4in lift. I prefer the sawzal method.

im sorry, youre right, i made a mistake. ive got 5.13's on my mind because some kid near me has his mind set on running 5.13's in a 4.3 sas'ed zr2 s10 and wants to run 38's. over-geared in my opinion.

33x10.5's clear on stock wheels, correct?

whats stock wheel width and backspacing?

I have an auto, 35's and 5.71 gearing. Looks like you have a 22re manual? So prolly 4.88's if you do 33's or go for 5.71 (just as strong at 5.29) if you go 35's

33x10.50 on the stock rims is the most cost effective thing you can do for these trucks.

If you leave the IFS alone, it will perform well for you and hold together very well.

Start adding balljoint spacers (for lift) or a bracket lift and 'wheel it hard and you're gonna have issues with the steering.

I put 33x10.5's Radial TSL's on my 90 model a few months and they work great. I've been very happy with them.

Had to flatten the seam at the back of the wheel well on the fronts but other than that they don't rub at all.

I want 33x12.5 or 35x12.5.

Ive got 2.4td with 5speed.

Wen i go to get these wheels certified i will be doing the lift aswell so i don't have to come back and certify the lift later on,
What should i do just go with the 35s or 33s. ill be getting a bj spacer and bl. what size should i get them? in mm plz

There gay really. anything bigger then 33'' off rubber on your car needs to be certed unles they come out with them.

any sorta lift has to be certed or just about any sorta lift.

and because 33x10.5s or 35x10.5s will just look silly like my one does atm

Yeah, they are silly.

What ISN'T silly is breaking steering and CVs every single trail run. That is SOOO awesome. In fact, I may go back to fat tires SPECIFICALLY so I can break every weekend.

don't have rocks and e like you do axle all we have is mud and hils and the odd ditch that we play in. well thats all i do anyways.

I run 35's with just a 4" suspention lift no need for the body lift just a small bit of trimming and 5.29's in my 5speed 3.75 backspaceing on the rims
