32x10.5 R15 on my '91 Runner?

My truck didn't come with 31's like some did. The size that it recommends is 225/75. I have 235/75 on right now. By reading a little bit on here, I've noticed that I SHOULD be able to fit 32x10.5 stock with no rubbing. I do have aftermarket rims but they seem to look the same dimensions as a stock 15. My question is, with an auto tranny and the 3.0, how would my truck run performance wise? I'm used to slow acceleration and not much power going up steep hills so if it's only a slight change then I wouldn't be bothered. How would gas mileage be? Any significant loss to my already pretty bad MPG?

Thanks

Do you mean a 33x10.5 or 32x11.5? There is no in between size.

It depends how you drive your truck. If you drive normal/hard, then you'll burn a lot of fuel. If you drive like a old lady with an egg on the pedal, then you could potentially see better mileage. For the vast majority, its best gear back to stock (4.88 for 31s and auto, and 5.29s for 33s).

I'm running 33x12.5 with 4.88's and she's well and bit sluggish to say the least. She does well on the trails but as for western PA hills she's a dog. I don't mind because I don't drive it much. Saying that you need to find out what tires you are getting as Matt stated...but they should fit as long as the backspacing is the same a stock rims.

32x10.5 would fit just fine, maybe a tiny rub when the wheels cranked, but that size is few and far between. most tire companies have 31x10.5 and 32x11.5. i was in the same spot before, i went with the 31x10.5 and im happy. if you find some 32x10.5 get em, i just couldn't

if you really want 32x10.50 tires, you can get some TSL Radials.

32's will fit fine. There won't be a very noticable power loss, and mpg's shouldn't be much different either.

Both power and mpg's will be lower, but not by much

Thanks for all the input guys sorry it took me a bit to respond. I had work, then... tequila last night.

So will I be fine with the 4.10 gearing? At least with 31's?

I just put a set of A/T 32x11.5x15's on my stock 94 and have not had any rub. My mpg's went down about 1 mpg.
