Mathew - you should also read the other information on the bodylifts at that site so that you know what you are getting into with the height of your lift.

when your jackng up the body make dont do it all at once to it slowly and look for hoses and wires that go tight so nothing gets puled o or broken

Polyurethane Body Bushings. Last way longer than rubber. Downey Off-Road has 'em cheap.

You can see some of the typical things that need attention above 1" of lift:

don't let anyone hear you say bodylift, that's a no-no here.

BTW : I love bodylifts and would recommend them to anyone but there are quite a few people on here that refer to the ****lift as profane.

Great choice by the way.

ok i did a 3 inch bl also. it is very smooth but remove the bracket that mounts your 4 wheel drive shifter on the tub it is right behind the t-case if that bends it is a bitch to get back into proper shape

As posted above, feel free to read over the following instructions and notes about installing taller body lifts:
- http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/....shtml#Updates

Hard to give any specific details, as these tend to vary by year and model vehicle and even within a given year. For example, I had shifter issues on my '85 w/ 1" body lift and had a buddy install a 2" lift on his '85 and he had no issues at all. Nothing you'll run into is insurmountable, some hoses/wires might need some adjustment or relocation.

i love my bodylift and it helped out my approach and departure angles tremendously. I couldn't wheel without it.

I have a 2" body lift ..Hard brake lines in the motor bay were stretched broke rear ground on the motor off..

i found instructions worthless. just keep your eyes and ears open while you install each mount.
