When was the last time you did a tune up? Does it have a cat?

sure it's coming out of the exhaust and not oil from the valve covers seeping onto the exhaust manifold(s)? It doesn't take much to make a smell.

oil seeping around the valve cover gasket and onto the manifold, then the heat from the manifold burns it off. if it's a bad leak you may get visible smoke but if it's not that bad, the smoke will be too faint to see but you'll smell it.

clean it off and see if the smell goes away. if it's a slow leak it'll take a while to come back.

not if it's oil burning on the manifold and not in the engine. If the O2 were going out and causing a rich fuel mixture it smells different than burning oil.
