Question 3.0 dual exhuast opinions??

Ok, so I have been through at least 500 videos on youtube, and cant find many where the people dont shove the camera under the pipe and redline it. This is my conundrum.. I want a good sounding exhaust that doesnt destroy the neighbors nerves. I live in a fairly quiet neighborhood, and I leave for work at 3-4 in the morning. I am leaning toward the magnaflow with dual 2.25 coming out the back. I just cant find any that are on youtube. I also dont want the coffee can sound, or a really raspy "is it about to blow up" sound. Any suggestion other than flowmaster because I was highly disappointed on how it made my frontier sound once it got 5k miles through it.

Magnaflow is a great choice for a muffler.
As long as you keep the stock cat and run a resonator before the muffler it will have a nice growl while not being to loud.

From what I have seen, almost no toyota truck guys run resonators??? Idk why?

Also in most cases, the larger the muffler is physically the deeper the tone you will get. Hence fart cans sound like ass, there really small.
The headers and crossover that you are running can also somewhat effect the exhaust tone, most you tube vids you see are probably running stock headers.

A good 2 into 1 will give you more power and better MPG and ceaper.. That being said, edlebrock mufflers tend to sound pretty deep and mellow especially the twin tube ones.

Will run a search for the edelbrocks on youtube. I also think you may be right about a resonator, noone had one on their rides (that I could tell) and they all seemed to have the same "bee in a coffee can sound" that I dont want. I know it is just a 3 litre, and there is no replacement for displacement, but I just dont want the generic screaming "raspiness" I hear on almost every one I have heard. Thanks for the suggestions, and keep them coming please. Once I do make a decision and have it installed I will post a video on photobucket&youtube to share with everyone.

Flowmaster was on my Frontier, the 44 delta flow.

It sounded awesome at first, nice low growl and moderate noise at 3/4 to wot, but as it broke in it passed loud and went to annoying, plus the drone at 2500 rpm on the highway after 45+ minutes began eating at the nerves.

exhaust video

That was a bit difficult to follow. Plus you're right against a wall. What are your impressions? How about at freeway speed?

I have viewed em even before you shared the links. Been using Youtube, company websites, etc for ideas and routing it through my home theatre to get an idea of the sound. Just wish 95% of the videos didnt have the camera almost in the exhaust pipe.
