Hello all,


I recently got a 93 toyota 4runner sr5 but i need a motor replacement this ones done. I wanted to know if i could get a reasonable motor (80-120k) and have a cheap shop installed for around 2 thosand. Also is there any other motor swaps i should look at that would be cheaper? Thank you

Just got a new one. The best deal on a new 3VZE is from Orient Engine.com. 2k for a rebuilt. I found salvaged motors for more. Also they got a 3 year warranty. I found a local shop to swap it in for 600 bucks, but he was a lucky find.

then orient engine is right up your alley. in Falmouth, KY about a 2.5 hour drive.

 

I don't think Orient Engine does instalations and the 2k includes shipping, and core charge if returned in 30 days and using a credit card.

 

thanks alot for the info.. i really love this truck and i wanna get it running.. its my first 4x4 and its a yota . I do not have the credit card balance to get it online but do u think i could drive there pay them and have the engine shipped to a local shop to put it in?
